Gaïta Medieval Music Performance |
Medieval romances describe a world of chivalrous knights, great deeds and great loves. Many of the stories are set in the legendary court of King Arthur, and many of the characters and themes recur in the songs of the troubadours and trouveres.
The programme combines courtly music from the High Middle Ages, interwoven with stories from the Arthurian romances, some familiar, some less so.
